Baxie talks with John Konesky–the brilliant guitar player for Tenacious D! For the last sixteen years John has been both a touring member and an eventual full-time member of the band with Kyle Gass and comedian Jack Black. John, along with Tenacious D bass player John Spiker and drummer Brooks Wackerman (Avenge Sevenfold, Bad Religion) have teamed up to form the band Missoula. Their first album, “Death Doula” is set to be released on July 28th. It’s an album of exceptional instrumentals from three top level musicians. Just incredible. John talks about the new album, how he got his start, and how he got involved with Tenacious D. We also talk about what happened in Australia and where things stand today. It’s an amazing story!
