This week on Baxie’s Musical Podcast we welcome back lead singer/songwriter/bass player Steve Kilbey from The Church. Since 1980, The Church is about to release their 27th studio album! (Including 1988’s “Starfish” which yielded the international hit “Under the Milky Way”) After receiving some of the best reviews of their career for their last two albums, The Church are set to release their latest on October 30th called “Lacuna”. It’s another gem that some are calling one of their strongest albums in years.

But Steve Kilbey’s musical universe doesn’t stop there. Over the years, Steve has released more than 30 solo albums of his own, written 14 books, and was inducted into the Australian Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2004. To say that Steve has been productive is a wild understatement. He simply never stops working.
