This week I’ll talk to John Andrew Fredrick from The Black Watch. Since 1988 The Black Watch has released 27 albums including their latest called “The Fuzzy End of the Lollipop”. It’s another amazing album from a band that boasts a revolving lineup of friends and co-collaborators who have generated some of the most consistently brilliant melding of dream pop, shoegaze, and post punk indie rock anywhere! But that’s only half of the story. John also holds a PhD in English Literature. He’s taught poetry at several colleges and universities. He’s also written several books that include his own poetry as well as a look at the early films of director Wes Anderson. This is a profoundly creative and endless productive man.
