This week on Baxie’s Musical Podcast I’ll speak with Twisted Sister guitarist and co-founder Jay Jay French. After more than 50 years, Twisted Sister has seen just about everything. From their humble beginnings to becoming one of the biggest Heavy Metal bands in the world–one thing has remained clear. There is perhaps no band in history that worked harder to get where they are than Twisted Sister. And much of that success has to do with Jay Jay French whose business savvy and vision turned Twisted Sister into the most heavily licensed Metal band of all time. How they got there was documented in Jay Jay’s book “Twisted Business”. It’s a book that spells out a clear vision of how to create opportunities, thrive, and learn from both your successes and failures.

Twisted Sister is currently on their 50th Anniversary Tour with Sebastian Bach setting in for Dee Snyder–who stepped away from the band to concentrate on his physical health. Jay Jay and I talk about how that happened and how the Twisted Sister out-worked, out-hustled, and out-played everybody!
