Mark your calendars – Western Mass Roller Derby (WMRD) Recruitment Night is Tuesday, February 4th 7:45-9:30 at Interskate 91 South in Wilbraham! This is the first night of an 11 week rookie training program where you will learn the basic skills and rules to play roller derby. The cost for the recruitment night is $10 and the full 11 week program is an additional $50. All experience levels welcome, no gear no problem. We have loaner pads, skates and helmets that you can borrow. Reach out with any questions – we look forward to seeing you there!

WMRD is dedicated to fostering the positive values of athletics, including sportsmanship, teamwork, philanthropy, and perseverance through the sport of roller derby. This includes building an inclusive community – one that promotes the empowerment of women, gender expansive, and non-binary skaters. WMRD strives to help individuals actualize their potential both on the track and off skates. We are a registered 501c3 nonprofit run for the skaters, by the skaters.
