Ride Like an Animal

The Foundation for TJO Animals will host the 9th Annual “Ride Like an Animal” Motorcycle Ride and Car Show to benefit homeless animals in shelter at the Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control & Adoption Center.  All proceeds from this event will provide much needed medical care and training to the many animals that call TJO their temporary home.

WHEN: Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Registration opens at 9:00 a.m., kick stands up at 10:45 a.m. with the ride leaving at 11:00 a.m. for a scenic ride through western MA

WHERE: Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control & Adoption Center, 627 Cottage St., Springfield.

Join us for pre-registration festivities including Pat Kelly from Lazer 99.3 and special guest Jonathan Hall and Toto the Tornado Kitten.  An expected 300 bikes will leave the shelter at 11:00 a.m. for a scenic ride through Western Mass that ends at the Ludlow Elks, located at 69 Chapin St., Ludlow MA.

The party continues afterwards at the Ludlow Elks, 69 Chapin Street with live music from the band Tough Customer, a BBQ (vegetarian food available), great raffles, and some TJO alumni!

Car enthusiasts, come on out and show off your wheels! Trophies awarded for the top 3 people’s choice. Show car registration is $15.00 (per passenger) and includes admission to the after party and lunch from 12:00 – 3:00. Show cars are encouraged to arrive between 11:30 and 12:00.

Registration is $25.00 per adult rider and free for children under the age of seven. For those individuals who would like to attend the after party, post ride party tickets are available for $15.00 per person.
