Gary Rome Auto Group has announced the launch of a “Stuff the Trunk” Disaster Relief Drive to aid communities in Jamaica devastated by Hurricane Melissa.
In partnership with Talk of the Town Restaurant in Springfield and Celestial Praise Church of Springfield, the initiative will collect both essential supplies and monetary donations to help families rebuild after the catastrophic Category 5 hurricane.
Beginning Monday, November 17 through Thursday, December 11, community members are encouraged to visit Gary Rome Hyundai (150 Whiting Farms Road, Holyoke, MA) or Gary Rome Kia (809 Enfield Street, Enfield, CT) to donate essential supplies.
REQUESTED DONATION ITEMS:
Tissues, toiletries, sanitary products, baby wipes, diapers, baby formula, hand sanitizers, disposable masks, ibuprofen, acetaminophen, first aid kits, cleaning products, garbage bags, gloves, bed linens or sleeping bags, non-perishable food items, portable stoves or butane burners, rain gear, water boots, flashlights, disposable batteries, lanterns or lamps, battery-operated radios, and fuel containers (empty).
