Nine Inch Nails upset with promoters

Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor’s Reading Festival experience was soured on Sunday following a dispute with promoters and headliners Biffy Clyro.

The rocker was clearly unhappy with the end of his weekend festival run in Britain when he took to to complain about the band’s “production” before hitting the stage on Sunday.

Reznor grumbled, “Should be an unusual show tonight at Reading… the lying promoter and the band following us (whoever the f**k they are) f**ked us on our production.”

It is not clear exactly what production issues are nagging the Nine Inch Nails leader, whose band performed at Reading’s sister festival Leeds on Friday night on the same bill as Biffy Clyro, but event boss Melvin Benn insists there’s no drama.

He states, “The truth is there’s no truth in the statement. The contract hasn’t changed since they (Nine Inch Nails) signed up to it.”
