The Everly Brothers will be honored with a tribute concert organized by bosses of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in October.

Officials at The Rock Hall announced on Thursday that surviving member Don Everly will appear at the gig, which will take place during the organization’s 19th annual Music Masters series.

Everly’s younger brother Phil died of complications from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in January. Everly said he wishes “Phil were here to share this honor” and thanked Rock Hall bosses “for keeping the Everly Brothers alive”.

Country music star Rodney Crowell will act as musical director for the concert, which will take place on Oct. 25 in Cleveland, Ohio. Performers will be announced at a later date.

The Everly Brothers were inducted into the Rock and Rock Hall of Fame in 1986.
