Just Breathe – Benefit for Donald Zulch

10/24/2014 - 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Polish American Citizens Club
355 East Street

Donald Zulch, a long time resident of Ludlow and father of 6 boys, was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis is March 2014. In May 2014, his condition rapidly progressed to Adult Respiratory Distress Syndrome which is generally fatal. Don was placed on the lung transplant list for 11 days. On Father’s Day, Don received the greatest gift. He received a double lung transplant which enabled him to “just breathe” on his own.

As we are all aware, the medical expenses incurred over such a lengthy hospitalization are tremendous. His wife, Marissa, has stayed in Boston by his side, while friends and family have assisted with caring for their children. Both have been unable to work due to the severity of his condition.

Family and friends have come together to organize a fundraising event for this family. The event is scheduled for Friday, October 24th from 5p-9p at the Polish American Citizens Club in Ludlow.

Our goal is to reduce some of the family’s financial burden and to express to Donald how very supportive out community is to him and his family.
